The Cultural Centre in Ettelbruck (CAPE) has announced that the Celtic String Quarter The Fretless will be opening its new Celtic music season with a concert on 1 October 2016 at 20:00 at the CAPE Cultural Centre (1, place Marie Adélaïde, Ettelbruck).

Canadian String Quarter The Fretless will open the new season with their mix of their passion for authentic traditional folk and Celtic music with that of classical musical instruments. The members have studied Music at Berkley University and show great enthusiasm for folk music as a result of their Irish and Scottish immigrant heritage.

The quartet have received many awards in Canada for their unique music style combined with jigs and reels. They also offer workshops to the young members of the CMNord strings band which will also be playing at the concert.
