Hailed as a 'tremendous pianist' by Downbeat Magazine, Michel Reis has rapidly evolved into an artist of international acclaim; following his performances in the USA and Canada last month, he is now off to the land of the rising sun, Japan.
Usually accompanied by his quartet composed of German musicians, Michel Reis will collaborate in July with Japanese musicians to present his latest album in quartet Capturing This Moment (released on Double Moon Records, DE). He will be surrounded by Takashi Sugawa on bass, Shun Ishiwaka on drums and Akihiro Nishiguchi on saxophone.
The quartet will be in concert for a special tour in Japan held from 20 to 26 July, organised by the Japanese promoter Mocloud Promotion.
