The SURF COWBOYS released their first CD “Put The Peanuts..” in 1993 and, after selling 2,500 copies, released “New Surf Same Deal” to critical acclaim in 1995 with multiple number 1 singles including “Believe it or not” and over 3,000 sales that still remains in radio rotation 20 years later.
The band started work on their 3rd album in January 2015 and the first single, “Crossroads” went straight to number 1 in the Luxembourg iTunes Rock charts. The album will be released on 10 December 2015 with ten songs all written by the band, except for one cover version of King’s X, Groove Machine.
The album was recorded in Linster Studios by the award-winning Werner Pensaert (K’s Choice, Soul Sister, The Scabs, Daniel Balthasar) and Ken Nnganyadi. The mastering was done in California by Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, etc.).
