Den Atelier has announced that Kodaline are to perform at their venue on rue de Hollerich in Luxembourg city on Friday 11 March.
Kodaline is an Irish Rock band that started out with the name 21 Demands, but changed their name to Kodaline in 2012. The band’s first breakthrough came when they participated in the fifth series of RTÉ talent show You're a Star. After their first single ‘Give Me a Minute’ made chart history by becoming the first independently released track to top the Irish Singles Chart the band was on their way up.
The Dublin quartet released their first EP, The Kodaline EP, in autumn 2012 and a little under a year later came their first studio album, ‘In a Perfect World’. Several of their songs have been noticed, such as ‘All I Want’ which was used in episodes of shows such as Grey's Anatomy and The Vampire Diaries as well as several movies.
A year ago, in February 2015, Kodaline released their second album, Coming Up For Air. The album charted number 4 on the UK Album Charts.
The concert on 11 March starts with doors opening at 20:00. Tickets cost €26 from www.atelier.lu.
