For more than 40 years, the City of Luxembourg has offered recreational activities known as "Aktioun Bambësch” during the school holidays for five-to-twelve year old children living in the city.

Organised by the "Centre of educational and leisure animation" (CAPEL), the activities are intended to awaken the creativity of children, enabling them to broaden their knowledge and evolve among peers.

Most activities take place outdoors and the children are guided and animated by young people who have undergone specific training and work under the supervision of CAPEL educators.

Participation in the Aktioun Bambësch, as well as the use of special shuttles for bus transportation to the places where the activities take place, are free of charge. Children are free to come on the days of their choice. In order to be able to organise the activities as much as possible, it is necessary to register the children beforehand by 1 June 2017 at the latest.

More detailed information on the Aktioun Bambësch and the registration form are available on the website: www.capel.lu
