Luxembourg NGO, Stëmm vun der Strooss, attended an event organised by residents of the retirement home Les Parcs du Troisième Âge in Bertrange, on Friday 20 March. The women of the retirement home invited the organisation, represented by Charlotte Treinen, so they could donate two large bags filled with scarves and bonnets that they had themselves knitted with all their heart. According to the organisation, "it was with great pride that Mrs. Catherine and Mrs. Jeanne, accompanied by the educators Mei Lian Wong and Gil Damy, explained the why and how of their project, and that being sensitive to the poverty in their country, they wanted to help underprivileged people." The retirement home provided the equipment for their project, with which the two women, assisted by Mrs Niels, managed to produce about 50 scarves and bonnets.
