At a special ceremony at their headquarters in Ludelange last month, Banque Raiffeisen handed over checks worth €5,000 each to five Luxembourg non-profits, as part of its annual giving programme.

The programme is supported by customers who choose to become members of the cooperative bank, and thus avail of the bank’s OPERA benefits. Earning OPERA points allows customers to choose to pay bank card fees, contribute to the savings of a minor, or make a donation to charity.

The associations that benefited from the donations are Autism Luxembourg, Aid to Children of India and Nepal, and the Raoul Follerau Foundation, which fights exclusion in all its forms, Stëmm vun der Strooss, and Op der Schock.
