Bee Together, along with natur&ëmwelt and SIAS, will be organising an event on biodiversity – a 6km walk starting from Munsbach at 10:00 on 14 June, in order to investigate what helps and hinders biodiversity.

The event is free of charge, although donations are welcome by cash on the day or through bank transfer to the Bee Together bank account. The money collected will be used by natur&ëmwelt and Bee Together to translate the former’s flyer on wild bees into English, to raise public awareness on their importance.

Two weeks ago, Doris Bauer of natur&ëmwelt, as well as Annemie Debackere and Amanda Surbey of Bee Together were interviewed by Wendy Winn on her show, ‘Happy Hour’ on Radio ARA, regarding bees and wasps, the decline of pollinators and small things that can be done to make a difference, further raising awareness on the topic.

Those interested in participating are asked to register before 11 June, through the following link: http://eventbrite.us8.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=9d91238c365989297f1e8d83e&id=3badd4b261&e=4033bc1230.

The exact meeting location will be sent to those who have registered for the event.
