The Social Couture Club, the pioneering platform cultivating fashion and couture in the Grand Duchy, has announced that it is partnering with SecondHand4Sale - a boutique with a remarkable repertoire of designer and high street second-hand fashion - and Influence LX Project for the first Vintage Tresors concept Pop-Up Boutique in the 1535°C creativity hub in Differdange, next week-end, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June 2015.

The intention is to create an innovative concept event pairing local fashion awareness and streetstyle culture with distinguished vintage pieces handpicked by Feyrouz Ashoura.

On both Saturday and Sunday, the doors are open from 15:00 - 18:00, with a Vernissage of a streetstyle photography exhibition in collaboration with Influence LX by Mel Dee and a cocktail networking party from 18:00 - 21:00 on Saturday evening.

“We have curated an astoundingly impressive list from across the Grand Duchy. The relics were selected for their quality, their timelessness and their uniqueness in design and texture. This is an amazing privilege and honour for the people to find some of the most rare luxury or designer pieces passed onto generations. Our goal is to empower sustainability and individuality and to combat fast fashion,” said Feyrouz Ashoura.

The two-day event will be complemented by several Styling and Upcycling workshops on both days starting at 16:00, a permanent Beauty station, with a Barbershop for the gentlemen on Sunday, as well as a live Influence Photoshoot at the former Arbed Site to close the event. There will be several creative workshops for children to let their creativity flow limitlessly during the weekend.

Catering will be provided by ScanShop during the Vernissage, alongside a permanent Tea & Cake Saloon with the local businesses Tea and More, NUX spreads and Sugarina that will provide vegan-friendly sweet treats during both days.

The Social Couture Club brings together fashion amateurs, students, professionals and experts throughout the region, providing a unique digital and physical platform for the local fashion community. Created in 2015 and hosted at the 1535, the creative hub in Differdange, The Social Couture Club offers those passionate about fashion-making access to workshops, couture parties, private instruction and social events with an insight into the secrets of the Parisian couture world. For its members, The Social Couture Club is a local community of like-minded Luxembourg-based local and expatriate “sewcialites”. By responding to the local demand for homemade clothing, The Social Couture Club trains future fashion and couture talent by helping them to gain the knowledge and skills to master the Art of Dress.
