Children's clothing brand, La Compagnie des Petits, has chosen to support Handicap International as part of its 'Folies solidaires' action from 3 October to 15 November 2015.
La Compagnie des Petits will be offering discounts during this time of up to 40% on certain items. For all purchases during this period, customers can make a minimum donation of €3 at checkout, whilst still receiving a 10% discount on the total amount purchased.
This initiative has been developed in support of Handicap International's 'Folies Solidaires' action, which began on 3 October with HI's 16th Pyramid of Shoes in Place d'Armes and end on 15 November 2015. These actions contribute to Handicap International's recently launched campaign against the use of explosive weapons in populated areas and the civilian casualties it creates. The issue is perhaps particularly significant following the recent bombing of an MSF hospital in Kunduz, Afghanistan.
The 'Folies solidaires' is currently taking place in stores in Luxembourg City and Esch-sur-Alzette and will begin on 17 October 2015 in the Ettelbruck store.
