On Saturday evening, the Indian Association Luxembourg (IAL) held their annual Divali (festival of lights) at the Tramsschapp in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg.
Such was the enduring appeal of the family-friendly soiree, 450+ members of the IAL and friends of India attended, with many wearing traditional saris and other colourful garments.
The stage provided the setting for the evening's entertainment of vibrant Indian regional, folk, fusion and Bollywood dance performances; during a break between sets, everyone was treated to a sumptuous Indian hot buffet, with an Open Floor and DJ to finish off the evening.
