The Luxembourg Office for Reception and Integration (OLAI) has announced that two temporary donation centres in Luxembourg and in Differdange, will be closed from 1 July 2016 to be reorganised.

In October 2015, the generosity of the Luxembourg population resulted in collection points for donations becoming saturated, leading OLAI to establish temporary ones at the CFL Logistics site in Luxembourg and the Centre Noppeney in Differdange.

Whilst these two temporary site are closed, individuals wishing to make a donation to asylum seekers and refugees can do so through OLAI's partners, the Luxembourg Red Cross and Caritas, which receive donations through various collection points throughout the country. A full list of these zones is available on the OLAI's website.

Collected donations will go towards disadvantaged or troubled individuals in Luxembourg, as well as asylum seekers and refugees.
