The U.S. Embassy Luxembourg, in cooperation with the Democrats Abroad - Luxembourg and Republicans Overseas - Luxembourg, is organising two public debates to discuss issues relevant to the upcoming U.S. presidential election.
These events are open to the public; any member of the public that wishes to attend the event must register beforehand at email: LuxembourgRSVP@state.gov
These debates are organised in a public forum format. Two American citizens living and working in Luxembourg representing each major party will debate. The debates will be moderated by U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg H.E. David McKean. These events will be platforms to exchange views by Americans who are residing abroad on current issues and to inform the audience.
The first event will take place on Wednesday 21 September 2016 at 18:30 at the University of Luxembourg, located at the Amphitheatre Tavenas, just off the main Limpertsberg Campus at 102 ave. Pasteur. The second event will take place on 20 October 2016 at 18:30 at a venue in Luxembourg still to be confirmed.
