The Solvay Schools Alumni in Luxembourg has announced the association’s rebirth with the lunch of a non-profit organization (a.s.b.l.) this September and is celebrating the milestone by organising an exclusive conference on the future of business in Luxembourg.

The association’s intent is to maintain the solid bound amongst alumni and foster the brotherhood uniting its members, facilitating their integration within the Luxembourgish business community.

Led by a team of seven alumni, the association also aims to strengthen the solid reputation of the Solvay Business Schools in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The local chapter unites all alumni from the French and Dutch speaking Solvay Business Schools, representing more than 600 alumni working across 20 different industries in Luxembourg.

More than 40% of the alumni either hold senior executives roles or are company owners. A non-negligible share of the association’s members are not surprisingly natively from Luxembourg or have acquired citizenship.

The members being at the heart of the association, the latter aims to support the alumni in their personal development through diverse business events and activities providing opportunities to interact and exchange experiences or expertise in different fields of the Luxembourgish economy.

In this context the Solvay Alumni Luxembourg a.s.b.l. issued its first rebranded community letter on 6 October. In addition, it is organising an exclusive conference entitled “Luxembourg 2050”, followed by a walking diner, on 27 October.

They will be joined by His Excellency the Ambassador of Belgium to Luxembourg, Thomas Antoine.
