The 6th annual Russian Charity Ball in Luxembourg is being held on Saturday 14 January 2017 at the Cercle Cité in Luxembourg city, with the the world renowned classical music ensemble Forte Trio from Kazakhstan performing at the event.

Organised by the Russian Charity Ball in Luxembourg asbl, this is the outstanding cultural event to mark the celebration of the Russian Old New Year occasion in favour of two famous charities, the SOS Village d'Enfants Monde and the Russian foundation "Tournesol" (sunflower), based in Moscow and which helps children with primary immunodeficiency and auto-immune disease. In five years of operation, the Russian Charity Ball in Luxembourg has raised a total of €230,000.

The evening will begin at 19:00 with an aperitif in front of the doors of the ballroom in the Cercle Cité which will then open for a gourmet dinner prepared by the Kaempff-Kohler Caterer with the support of the chef maestro Renato Favaro, whose restaurant has a Michelin star.

The event will include an Auction and Tombola, where guests will be able to compete for historical objects or objects of luxury and art.

Entertainment, in addition to the above, includes "Russkaia Dusha" folk musicians, folk dance of the Kalinka Russian School, Rythmo Cats, Karoart Fashion Show, Russian Harpist Anastasia Sergeeva, GD Painters Exhibition Luxembourg. The ball will also feature the Chic Planet Orchestra, which will play ambient music in the Grand Ballroom.
