The Luxembourg Rose Committee is now starting its search for 2017 Roses with an information evening at The Tube on Saturday 21 January from 18:00 - 20:00, with the 16th Rose Ball set for Saturday 20 May 2017 at the Parc Alvisse Hotel in Luxembourg-Dommeldange with MC Jim Kent.

Anyone interested in entering can come along and find out what is entailed in the Luxembourg Rose experience. With the 2010 Rose Clare McGing, 2012 Rose Nicola McEvoy, 2014 Rose Niamh Bergin and 2015 Rose Aedammair NÍ Chiardha on the 2016 / 2017 Rose Committee, there is no shortage of advice on hand.

For those of you who do not meet the entry criteria for the 2017 Luxembourg Rose, there is also a competition for you to enter – the “Refer a Rose” initiative. You can enter and be in with a chance of winning a ticket to the 2017 Rose Ball. If you know someone who is eligible to enter the 2017 Luxembourg Rose, but she may need a little gentle persuasion from her friends to sign up, contact the Rose committee at email: luxembourgrose@yahoo.com with that girl's name and, if she enters the 2017 Luxembourg Rose, you could win a ticket to the Rose Ball on Saturday 20 May 2017.

In addition, the closing date for entries for the 2017 Luxembourg Rose is Wednesday 1 March 2017. And the 2017 Rose Tour & International Festival will take place in Tralee, Ireland between Sunday 13 and Tuesday 22 August 2017, for which all 65 Roses will go to Ireland.
