On Friday 23 September 2016, Moovijob is organising the 3rd edition of the Unicareers.lu job fair to be held at the Luxembourg European Convention Center in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from 10:00 to 17:00.
Unicareers.lu is the University of Luxembourg’s official job fair. At this event, 120 exhibitors will be offering more than 2,000 vacancies (internships, fixed-term contracts and permanent contracts).
The event is intended for students looking for an internship or a job and young professionals with up to five years of experience. Foreign students and professionals are also welcome.
The job fair attracts people from beyond Luxembourg’s borders, including 350 secondary schools and European partner universities. There will be free bus services from Paris, Lyon, Lille, Strasbourg, Brussels/Louvain, Liège, Saarbrücken and Trier in order to facilitate their visits.
During the 2015 event, 700 young people were. The 2016 fair will be divided into 8 distinct business sectors: Audit-Accounting, Banking-Finance-Insurance, Business-Corporate Services, Law-Legal, Training-R&D, Industry-Transportation, IT & Partners-Consulting-Services.
There will also be several conferences held by Luxembourgish market experts, including:
• A round-table on “Youth Employment in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg” to be held at 11:00 with Nicolas Schmit, Luxembourg’s Minister of Labour.
• PwC, ING, State Street, ESA (European Space Agency), Siemens, Swiss Life & BIL (Banque Internationale à Luxembourg) will also hold conferences on various topics. Visitors may register on the www.Unicareers.lu website. Admission is solely upon presentation of the invitation.
