Luxembourg start-up MyScienceWork has been selected by French magazine Challenge as one of '30 International Start-ups to Invest in' (“30 Start-up à l’international où investir”) in its April edition.

MyScienceWork is a collaborative scientific platform that operates one of the biggest scientific databases today. MyScienceWork was launched in Luxembourg in 2012, with its CEO & Founder, Virginie Simon, reaching second place at the 7th Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg (CYEL) Awards a year later. Luxembourg’s Prime Minister, Xavier Bettel, visited Simon, a biotech engineer and PhD in nanotechnology, and co-founder Tristan Davaille, a financial engineer with a degree in economics, in Silicon Valley in February 2015 as part of the PM's meeting with entrepreneurs, financiers and students. Whilst its headquarters are in Luxembourg, it has retained a strong presence in Silicon Valley (California, USA) since 2014.

This is the 7th consecutive year that the magazine Challenge has gathered its list of “100 start-up où investir en France” and with it came the addition of 30 start-ups that were created abroad, a list gathered by Emmanuel Macron and Axelle Lemaire.

Locations for other selected projects were: Canada (Potloc), Spain (Kuarix), Australia (Maestrano), China (Easyship), Japan (Locarise), Singapore (Aniwaa) and many others.
