The University of Luxembourg has collaborated with 'RBS - Center fir Altersfroen' to offer open lectures to members of the public of all ages and academic levels.

The programme, which will provide around 150 open spaces at the new Esch-sur-Alzette university campus, has been developed to target retirees, those in early retirement and any adults who are looking to refresh, enrich or acquire academic knowledge. Participants can browse a catalogue of over 70 courses in a variety of disciplines, to select between one and three courses per semester that fit the participant's field of interest.

In addition, auditors will have the opportunity to study their chosen subject in a stress-free environment as they will be able to participate in seminars and lectures but will not be required to take examinations as part of the course as other students will be.

A meeting will be held at 15:00 on Wednesday 2 September 2015 at the Belval campus, to provide those interested with all the necessary information. This meeting will be followed by a free guided tour of the Maison du Savoir and the campus.

Registration is €50 per semester. For more information on the course catalogue visit www.uni.lu, or contact open@uni.lu  or +352 46-66-44-6942.
