63 students will be entering the job market with degrees in Weatlh Management and Banking and Finance from the Luxembourg School of Finance (LSF) after celebrating their graduation on Thursday evening.

The ceremony, which was held at d'Coque Amphithéâtre, saw students of 25 different nationalities receive their diplomas by the University of Luxembourg's LSF, with 24 students graduating from the Master in Wealth Management and 39 from the Master of Science in Banking and Finance. The degree enabled the graduates to spend a week in residence at Singapore Management University or New York University's Stern School of Business, as well as complete an internship.

University vice-president for academic affairs, Professor Eric Tschirhart and Luxembourg School of Finance Head Professor Christian Wolff, were in attendance at the ceremony to congratulate the alumni and welcome their families. Students were equally encouraged by the LSF Alumni Association to keep in touch through its international network.

The keynote speech was provided by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Luxembourg, Thomas Antoine, who highlighted integrity as an important factor in the future path of the graduates, stating: "It is a duty and responsbility to be yourself" and that "You cannot buy or sell honesty and honour". Speeches were also made by class valedictorians Rafael Hubatschek (Master in Wealth Management) and XueYang Wang (Master of Science in Banking in Finance), who thanked the LSF team with Ms. Wang commenting: "The people you go with are as important as where you are going".

Mr. Hubatschek was also the recipient of the Pictet Prize of €5,000 as the best student in Wealth Management and was personally congratulated by Pictet Luxembourg Managing Director, Pierre Etienne.

After diplomas were handed out by Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance Dean Prof. Stefan Braum and Professor Christian Wolff, the students were invited to a cocktail reception to celebrate their graduations.
