The scientific director of the National Composite Centre (NCC-L) at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST) will be returning to his university duties at the University of Mons on 1 September 2017.

Notwithstanding that, he will continue to provide advice to the NCC-L in the field of polymer and composite materials as part of a new scientific advisory function. Dubois retains his current position as Scientific Director of NCC-L and Head of the Sustainable Materials Unit (SUSMAT) until 31 August 2017.

LIST said that it reaffirms its confidence in the future of the NCC-L, a flagship of a joint initiative of the Ministry of Economy, Luxinnovation and LIST in the field of materials. Similarly, the collaborations recently established by LIST with a number of industrial players attest to the relevance of the development model chosen by LIST, aimed at transferring technology to the benefit of Luxembourg's economy and quality of life

In a press release, LIST thanked Professor Dubois for giving the young NCC-L structure the means to be operational very quickly and said that it looks forward to the challenges ahead in this new form of collaboration with him.
