B Medical Systems, a Luxembourg leading manufacturer and worldwide distributor for large-scale vaccination programmes in emerging markets, has launched new solutions for the cold chain, enabling vaccines in the world to be monitored in real-time.

The Luxembourg company has also developed a health kit for remote regions, capable of automatically charging using excess energy and running essential devices.

"In the most difficult situations and the most remote regions in the world, we ensure the success of government vaccination campaigns," commented Luc Provost, CEO of B Medical Systems. "Our new data logger ensures respect for the cold chain and allows each vaccine to be safe and usable, improving outcomes for patients and reducing waste. Our new health centre kit uses light from the sun to provide energy for lighting, ventilation and recharging mobile phones - providing vital support and additional comfort to patients as well as the caregiver."

B Medical Systems stated that it takes into account the constantly changing needs of countries and regularly expands its range of high-quality reliable products that reflect and match those needs.

"B Medical Systems is synonymous with quality; our products have a low total cost of ownership by avoiding visits and unnecessary maintenance expenses," Luc Provost added. "And, more importantly, they save lives."

In addition to the latest solutions in the vaccine cold chain, the company is launching the first solar-powered blood bank refrigerator with a storage capacity of 90 blood bags.
