The pont Grande-Duchesse Charlotte, colloquially known as the Red Bridge, will see the 4th phase of renovations from Saturday 4 February 2017, according to the Administration des ponts et chaussées.

This fourth phase requires a reorganisation of traffic flows on the bridge. The two traffic lanes in the direction of the city centre will be moved into the middle of the bridge and the two lanes direction in the direction of Kirchberg will remain on the south side. Traffic flows will be maintained during the switchover and appropriate signage will be in place.

During the construction period, the north footpath will remain closed to both pedestrians and cyclists who should use the footpath on the south side of the bridge and the newly expanded section of the PC2 bicycle path.
