The Centre de Langue et de Culture Chinoises du Luxembourg (CLCCL), with the support of the Chinese Embassy and in collaboration with the Trier Confucius Institute, held a series of cultural workshops to celebrate the Chinese New Year on Saturday 4 February at the Athénée du Luxembourg in Merl.
Calligraphy, Lion dance, Chinese painting, Wushu, Tee ceremony, Kung Fu Fan, paper cuttings, origami and Shuttlecock were on the programme. Many children (and parents too) were happy to attend the workshops throughout the morning.
The final show took place with the Lion dance in front of an impressive audience after the long-awaited raffle, chaired by the first councillor of the Embassy, Mrs. SHANG Jing.
In addition, a traditional Jiaozi lunch was organised for all the members, teachers and children attending.
