Why not bake and select your very best cake to be judged by the Mystery Panel at this year's Church Fair being held in Useldange on Sunday 7 June?
There is no entry fee but a condition of entry is that all cakes entered in the Cake Competition are donated to the Home Produce stall or to the Tea Stand after the awarding of prizes. Judging will be based on appearance, taste and texture.
There will be two categories: Junior (entries by any baker under the age of 16) and Adult (entries by any baker not in the above age range). There will be a prize for the most delicious cake in each category.
Please bring cakes for the competition on the day - there is no prior registration; the Fair opens at 13:00 and judging begins at 14:00 with the winners announced at 14.15 just before the Dance and Entertainment programme begins.
