Luxembourg City was already buzzing with activity this morning as residents of the Grand Duchy descended on the sunny capital to browse for bargains among the 400 stalls comprising the 86th edition of the Grande Braderie.

Roads in the Gare and Ville Haute districts of the City centre have been closed off to traffic to allow visitors to freely meander among the market, which offers discount deals on clothing and footwear items, as well as numerous stalls providing quick refreshments or traditional delicacies.

Most buses will not be running between the Gare district and the City Centre from 05:00 until 21:00 today, with the exception of lines 1/125, 16 and 18, as well as EUROBUS numbers 120, 172, 192 and 194. However, visitors opting to take the car in are able to park at P&Rs Bouillon and Luxembourg-Sud, and from there take public transport.

Parking at 'Place de l'Europe' will be free for the duration of the Braderie, and a special shuttle will run every 20 minutes between carparks 'Coque' and 'Place de l'Europe' and the city centre between 08:00 and 19:47.

The Braderie will be open until 19:00 this evening.
