Clients of the Hotel & Restaurant Division enjoy creative BBQ specialities served on innovative tableware

On Monday 30 May 2016, the Hotel & Restaurant Division of Villeroy & Boch invited clients to the popular Restaurant Buvette in the cultural centre Rotondes in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie where the Luxembourg barbecue chef Ben Péporté prepared his own grilled specialities and burgers – some classical, some unusual and all hugely popular with his loyal guests.

He has recently started to present his food on the V&B collections Artesano Professionale and BBQ Passion, a new line this year, and is very pleased with the result: "I need uncomplicated tableware for my customers, dishes that look good and that are suitable for the appealing presentation of my meals. Functionality, high resilience and design are equally important, so the Villeroy & Boch collections Artesano Pro-fessionale and BBQ Passion are ideal. The guests like them too – what more can you ask for?" said Ben Péporté.

Right on time for the barbecue season, Villeroy & Boch has introduced new tableware highlights to its Luxembourg hotel and catering industry clients. The innovative Food Special BBQ Passion and the Artesano Professionale line were the centre of attention.

BBQ Passion picks up on the worldwide megatrend for barbecuing and homemade burgers, and is characterised by a functional but most attractive design. All the products of the range are of premium quality, meeting the high standards of the gastronomy industry. Thus, for instance, striking design is combined with high chip resistance. The individual tableware items can also be easily stacked and have an extremely flexible range of use.

The special plates from BBQ Passion provide an impressive stage for any chef, allowing the striking presentation of grilled food. However, the tableware can also be used for the attractive serving of desserts, sandwiches and international specialities like sushi. The design of BBQ Passion harmonises well with the tableware Artesano Professionale, which was launched in 2015.

The qualities of both collections have been recognised with design prizes – for example, BBQ Passion was this year accredited with the Red Dot Design Award, while the form Arte-sano won the Good Design Award.
