In personalisation terms, there is an embarrassment of riches. Available in yellow, white or rose gold, the bands can be polished, engraved or lacquered in white, black, coral turquoise, green or red. To add extra glamour, customers can have their jewellery set with chocolate, black or brilliant-cut diamonds, or with yellow, blue or pink sapphires. Some of the adornments available display motifs in little trapezoids, just like in the iconic Pas de Deux brand, created in 1989 by Pierre Rossy, owner of Schroeder Joailliers.

Once the various rings have been chosen, it takes a few minutes for the piece of jewellery to take its final form in the company’s workshops at 27 Grand-Rue in Luxembourg city centre. “Each person can choose to put together between two and four rings from our catalogue, depending on what they prefer. Our workshop then takes care of fitting them together to make the final piece of jewellery”, explained Pierre Rossy.

That assembly technique is exclusive to Schroeder Joailliers. “We have designed a system with a male ring, equipped with a little rim, which fits inside the female ring. That enables us to embed one ring into the other”.

Named “Jazz” at the suggestion of Pierre Rossy’s daughters, this collection of rings displays the same sense of freedom characteristic of the musical genre whose name it bears. Diverse influences, a mixture of styles and influences, part improvised... Like jazz, the new Schroeder Joailliers rings bring each person’s tastes, styles and preferences to life, without an imposed “melody”.

Starting at €550 for a two-band ring, the Jazz collection is a breath of youthful fresh air through the world of jewellery.
