The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that this Saturday 4 April between 10:00 and 18:00, the Place d'Armes in Luxembourg city centre will be transformed into a mini Grand Duchy.

The transformation will enable members of the public to discover the various tourism regions across Luxembourg and their various cultural offerings too.

From the rich natural and cultural heritage of the Ardennes, where one castle may hide another, to the distant fairy of the Moselle, the wild giant rocks of nature of the Mullerthal region or the extravagant solemnity of the abbey town of Echternach; or stroll through the industrial heritage of yesterday amid an often unsuspected mining area without forgetting the jewels of medieval times of deep valleys to the west of a land of a thousand treasures! And be enchanted by the mystical depths of the Casemates in the European city of Luxembourg!

Entertainment for children and adults, including concerts, and will be organised, and local produce will be available for sale, to complete the tourist information courtesy of the various participating tourism partners.

At 11:00, Luxembourg's Secretary of State for Tourism, Francine Closener, will kick off for the first edition of this day of discovery titled "Explore Luxembourg".
