The “Genial” exhibition, which will display a selection of twenty-five innovative projects submitted over the last six editions for the contest of the same name, organised by Luxinnovation, will be showcased from this Saturday 9 May until the beginning of October, at the Grund tunnel (access to St-Esprit lift).

The contest initiative, held by Luxinnovation, in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education, Childhood, and Youth, since 2009, offers an opportunity for young, creative minds to express themselves and develop their ideas with a design approach.

Over the six editions, over 1,950 students between the ages of 5 and 20 submitted a total of 1,118 ideas. The best individual and group projects were selected and rewarded by a panel of business professionals from the fields of design, culture and education. The criteria established for the projects were – innovative nature, creative spirit, potential for undertaking and the quality of arguments for its undertaking.

The selection of projects chosen for the exhibition will give visitors a glimpse into the wide range of divserse ideas, stemming from these young minds.

The official opening will take place this Friday 8 May at 16:30.
