The Secretary of State for Culture in Luxembourg, Guy Arendt, presented the programme of Heritage Days 2016 that is taking place from 23 September to 9 October 2016.

At yesterday's press conference, Secretary of State Arendt stressed the importance of heritage and its development.

The 2016 edition of this annual event is focussed on "Heritage & Accessibility" and the Ministry of Culture and the National Sites and Monuments Service have attracted some fifty partners for the popular event, including institutions, cultural institutions, municipalities and associations.

Organised in close collaboration with Info-Handicap ASBL, the Heritage Days 2016 puts special emphasis on heritage accessibility for people with disabilities.

The programme includes thirty-six exhibitions, websites, workshops, conferences, etc. throughout the country and for all ages.
