On Saturday 24 September, the Centre de Langue et de Culture Chinoises du Luxembourg (CLCCL) presented its BEAUTY of WUSHU Kaleidoscope (Martial Art) event at Casino2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains.
The award-winning Beijing Capital University of Physical Education and Sports (CUPES) headlined the event which was organised in collaboration with the Trier Confucius Institute and presented by Monica Semedo from RTL. Approximately seven hundred guests attended.
The dancers used a mix of dance and Kung Fu to tell the history of WuShu through the different Chinese dynasties.
The first part of the evening involved a fashion show and there was also a photo exhibition “Amazing China” about exclusive Chinese landscapes, which will be available to view until this Wednesday.
According to the organisers, while the Chinese Ambassador Huang was unable to be present, the event was a success thanks to both the commitment and professionalism of the Casino2000 team, the performance of Lucia Colombo and Randy Rocha’s dancers.
