Within the European Week of sport, the Salon Top Sport was held at the National Sports and Cultural Centre of d'Coque in Luxembourg-Kirchberg at the week-end.

Romain Schneider, Luxembourg Minister of Sports, inaugurated the 2016 edition of the Salon Top Sport which attracted many visitors who were welcomed by sixty exhibitors - institutional and private - installed around the Coque. Presentations of activities, entertainment, and demonstrations were held throughout the week-end.

This EU-wide event has the objective of promoting physical exercise and sport in its most varied forms and at all levels.

In this context, the European Commission coordinates a multitude of activities and events in the countries of the European Union. Like the Top Sport Salon, all organisations need to support the objectives set as part of this week and benefit from the advice of the Commission and the label "European Week of Sport".
