The natur&ëmwelt English Section has announced that they are organising a Fit by Nature event on Saturday 21 January 2017 from 09:00 to 14:00 at the Roudebierg national park in Dudelange.

Bee Together and natur&ëmwelt are collaborating once again on an event to spread awareness on the rare plants at Roudebierg, near Dudelange.

The event will involve the construction of a fence and the clearing of brush on a dry grassland site to keep it open for orchids and other wild flowers.

In the morning, there will be a presentation on the importance of the site, the dry grasslands project, and the site for flora and fauna.

Participants should be preferably 10 years old or above and children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are also welcome but should be supervised by owners.

It is recommended that participants wear good hiking boots and weather-appropriate clothes.

Tools and food will be provided on site.

Donations for the project can be made by bank transfer to IBAN CCPL LULL LU89 1111 0789 9941 0000, mentioning "project: Dry grassland and orchid fields”.

Registration should be made before 18 January at goo.gl/Yfkbh7.
