As part of the 10th anniversary of Scratch, there will be a series of activities and celebrations organised for 5-15 year olds in Luxembourg on 7 May 2017.
This year, the Luxembourg Scratch Day celebrations will be run by a 10-year-old pre-teen, Avanti, and a 15-year-old teen, Atreyam (Leo).
Children are welcome to create their stories, games and animation using a tablet or laptop. There will also be a photo opportunity with the Scratch Cat.
Scratch Day is a global network of events that celebrates Scratch, a free programming language and online community where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. This year there will be 290 odd events taking place worldwide.
The Luxembourg activities will take place between 15:30 and 17:00.
