On 7 September 2015, the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure and the Department of Transport of Luxembourg will be opening several new cross-border bus lines.
The additions to the bus system were reportedly developed to cater to the needs of students and employees at the new Belval campus of the University of Luxembourg and to increase public transport options between the different regions. The new RGTR lines are as follows:
- Line 306 Esch/Belval - Cloche d'Or - Trèves (D)
- Line 309 Esch/Belval - Frisange - Perl (D)
- Line 324 Esch/Belval - Audun-le-Tiche - Elange (F)
- Line 332 Esch/Belval - Dippach - Arlon (B)
Bus fares for these four new lines will be the same as for other cross-border lines. More information can be found on www.mobiliteit.lu
