For the Sunday shops opening and boot sale on 2 April, the City of Luxembourg in collaboration with the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure will be implementing additional transport arrangements including new buses, expanded bus itineraries and free parking.

All bus lines, 1 through 31, as well as certain RGTR lines, will be free within the city and neighbouring communes on the Sunday in question.

The City Shopping Bus, a free shuttle linking Glacis carpark to Beaumont Street, will take an extended circuit on Saturdays and Sundays including the Sunday market openings, serving the downtown Beaumont stop as well as the stops at Forum Royal, Hällepull, Cathédrale and Kasinosgaass. It will leave every 7-8 minutes between 13:30 and 18:30.

Schuman carpark, with 270 spaces, is free on Saturdays and Sundays (except during the Schueberfouer). The Fondation Pescatore bus stop is close to the carpark and serviced at regular intervals by Lines 1/16, 2, 4, 7, 8, 18, 19 and 20, allowing visitors to easily reach downtown.

From 12:49, Line 1 will leave every 10 minutes from the Bouillon Park & Ride, which is also open weekends, for the railway district and city centre. For the return trip, departures will leave the Hamilius quai 2 stop on Boulevard Royal Park & Ride between 13:05 and 18:35.

For Sundays with Sunday openings and boot sales, the Stade carpark is free on Saturdays and Sundays except during the Schueberfouer, and is served by Lines 22 and 28 serving the city centre and railway station, and which run roughly every 15 minutes from 13:27. Return trips will run between 13:42 and 18:31 from the train station and between 13:48 and 18:37 from the city centre, at Monterey Quai 2.
