A rough weekend on Luxembourg’s roads saw one collision between two motorcyclists on the N25 between Wiltz and Kautenbach early on Saturday afternoon, another motorcyclist and a car on the CR113 between Tuntange and Hollenfels that morning, and a third accident between two cars on Saturday afternoon on the A4.
The motorcyclists involved all were seriously injured and taken to hospital by the rescue helicopter. The affected routes of the N25 and CR113 were temporarily closed to traffic.
The incident on the A4 resulted in injury to one of the rescue workers as leaked fluids caused another vehicle to slip hitting a hospital car. An investigation is underway into the cause of the original crash.
