The Bridges and Roads Administration will be carrying out maintenance work on the surface of the A6 and A1 motorway between the Crosses of Gasperich and Cessange in the direction of Belgium from 19:00 on 16 June until 06:00 on 19 June. 

Traffic moving eastward is not affected by this site. 

For westward traffic, a series of diversions will be in place. 

From 19:00 on 16 June until 06:00 on 19 June, the westward lanes between the Gasperich and Cessange crosses will be closed to all traffic. 

The following access and exit ramps to the cross of Gasperich are also barred to traffic:

The access roads of the Cross of Gasperich coming from Metz of the A3 motorway and in the direction of the A6 and A1 motorways;

The access road of the cross of Gasperich coming from the roundabout Gluck of the A3 and in direction of the A6 motorway;

The exit of the cross of Gasperich coming from the Howald tunnel of the A1 motorway and in the direction of the Gluck roundabout of the A3 motorway.

The following diversions will be in place: 

Traffic coming from the Howald tunnel on the A1 motorway towards Luxembourg-Ville is diverted from the Gasperich cross to the Livange interchange (back to the Gluck roundabout). 

Traffic from the Howald tunnel on the A1 motorway and from the Gluck roundabout on the A3 motorway towards the Croix de Cessange on the A6 motorway is deflected from the Gasperich cross via the A3, Cross of Bettembourg, the A13, the junction of Esch and the A4 until the cross of Cessange. 

Traffic coming from the Howald tunnel on the A1 motorway and towards the Gluck roundabout on the A3 motorway and diverted from the Gasperich cross via the A3 and the Livange interchange and back to The cross of Gasperich;

Traffic coming from Metz from the A3 motorway and towards the cross of Cessange is deviated from the cross of Bettembourg via the A13, the junction of Esch and the A4 until the cross of Cessange.
