Late afternoon on Friday, the CFL announced that there would be delays for an indefinite period on the railway line (No. 90) linking Bettembourg and Thionville (France).

The delay is due to damage on the French railway network. As a result, the CFL is advising passengers travelling to Thionville, Metz and Nancy to use alternate means of transport whenever possible.

For TGV passengers, substitute buses are being organised from Luxembourg train station. Three trains will run between the Luxembourg station via Longwy towards Thionville at around 17:00, 17:30 and 18:00. Alternative buses are being organised between Luxembourg and Thionville.
