Luxembourg Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Nicolas Schmit, will be in Chamonix on Friday 27 November 2015 for the 7th international forum of the social economy.

Since 2005, the Mont-Blanc Meetings have been held every two years with the objective of promoting the visibility and international recognition of the social economy. The 2015 edition will bring together around 500 leaders of the social and solidarity economy around the central theme of human development and the sustainable development of cities and territories.

As a member  of the International Leading Group of the social economy, Luxembourg is active in the promotion of the social and solidarity economy on the international, European and national scale.
