Luxembourg's Schroeder Joailliers is organising a 3-day exhibition in Shanghai, China, and welcomed Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Guillaume and Crown Princess Stephanie on the opening day on Friday.

On the day of the opening, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Guillaume and Crown Princess Stephanie, who are currently in China for the trade mission, visited the exhibition by the famous Luxembourg-based jeweller which is supported by its official agent in China, CGG - European Royal Jewellers.

Pierre Rossy, accompanied by his second daughter Anni Rossy, were in Shanghai for the exhibition and hosted the visit of the Luxembourg royals.

Schroeder Joailliers presented a number of beautiful pieces of top jewellery created in their own workshops, and a collection of exceptional and rare gemstones with sapphires, rubies and emeralds from the finest mines in the world, especially Kashmir and the region of Mogok.

"Kashmir is one of the rarest provenances for sapphires. The Kashmir mines have been closed now for 60 years, as there is no more stone material. The mines are very difficult to access because of their location in the high mountains, landslides and several other factors. The evolution of the Kashmir sapphire prices can easily be seen in the sales results for gemstone auctions worldwide. Large sums of money are spent for Kashmir sapphires, due to the fact that these stones are an investment", explained Pierre Rossy.

Among the guests to view the exhibition were the presidents of major Chinese private banks together with a selection of their largest clients: investors, entrepreneurs, heads of large international companies and some celebrities.
