From 19 to 25 May 2016, HRH Hereditary Grand Duke, accompanied by HRH the Hereditary Grand Duchess, will be presiding over an expedition to the East Coast of the United States.
Led by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy, Étienne Schneider, the delegation will aim to promote the Luxembourg economy and its recent developments through meetings in New York with companies active in the fields of ICT, the audiovisual sector, and industry.
Sunday 22 will be dedicated to a visit of the Luxembourg American Cultural Society in Belgium in the state of Wisconsin. On this occasion, HRH the Hereditary Grand Duchess will join the official delegation and will accompany HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke in New York where a reception will be held dedicated to the ICT sector, as well as a seminar on cyber security.
The climax of the mission will be the 8th edition of the Luxembourg American Business Award ceremony which will be held on 24 May 2016 in New York. The Business Award will be presented by HRH the Hereditary Grand Duke in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Economy, Étienne Schneider. The mission will conclude with the participation of the official delegation in a breakfast seminar organised by the Luxembourg Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LPEA), which will laos be on a promotional mission in New York.
