Luxembourg's Prime Minister and Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, is on an official 3-day visit to Romania from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 June 2017.
On Friday he met with both Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania, and Sorin Mihai Grindeanu, Prime Minister of Romania, in Bucharest. The discussions focused on bilateral relations as well as major issues of European political news, including migration and the Schengen area.
His visit will also include meeting with leaders of Romanian companies in the ICT sector in Bucharest. Meanwhile, his visit to Sibiu will include meetings with the city's mayor, Astrid Fodor, and Daniela Cimpean, President of the Sibiu City Council, as will a visit of the city and its surroundings.
