A traffic accident on the main street in Bascharage yesterday afternoon left three people injured.

For unknown reasons, a woman coming from the Luxembourg direction strayed from the road, colliding with a pickup truck on the right hand side of the street. Due to the force of the impact, the truck then pushed against a car to its right, injuring the two people sitting inside.

The main road remained closed for an hour whilst services dealt with the accident.
