The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) today announced that from 13 July until 6 September 2015, the Grand Ducal Palace will open its doors to the public to offer guided tours of the site.

The Grand Ducal Palace is one of the main attractions of the capital, with its sixteenth century facade and a light design by Ingo Maurer. The interior and its ceremonial rooms reportedly attract over 8,000 visitors annually.

Visitors will have the opportunity during this period to discover how the Grand Ducal family live and work, how life unfolds in the palace, which rooms hold official functions, how the lounges are decorated and what works of art are displayed inside.

The temporary exhibition 'Wëlcom Dôhém - Return From Exile of HRH The Grand Duchess Charlotte' will also be available for viewing in the Salle de Balance.
