The Luxembourg police have reported that, on Wednesday last, they arrested a drugs dealer in the vicinity of Luxembourg-Gare.
Following a investigation involving observing a suspect in action, the Narcotics Section of the Research and Criminal Investigations Section of the police force arrested a man, described as being of West African origin, who they caught in the act of selling drugs around Luxembourg-Gare.
Following his arrest, they searched the man's apartment on the rue de Strasbourg at which they discovered, and subsequently confiscated, 2kg of heroin, 40g of cocaine and approximately €5,230 in cash. The drugs had a street value of around €44,000.
The arrested man is understood to have been involved in the drugs trade for period which was described as "several months".
