The Grand Ducal Police reported that they will be continuing the search for missing infant Bianka Bisdorff today by conducting another scan of the 'Lenger Weiheren' area between 09:00 and 18:00.

Bianka Bisdorff, born 6 June 2015, has now been missing for just over a month, with Luxembourg Police having conducted a continued investigation into her whereabouts since 3 July 2015. 'Lenger Weiheren' pond, where Bianka was last reportedly seen, was dredged two weeks ago, following the revelation that children's clothing containing traces of the mother's DNA had been found in a nearby building. The draining of the pond, which was carried out over three seperate days, revealed no trace of the missing infant.

The Grand Ducal Police have now returned to the 'Lenger Weiheren' site, where they will be extending the search to nearby houses in the area. About 35 officers from the SREC Esch-Alzette and SPJ, as well as students of the Police Academy, are taking part in the investigative action. Reinforcement has also been provided in the form of the 'Man Trailer' dog unit from NRW.

The Police have requested, due to the importance of the investigation underway, that the public prevent the hindrance of the search by avoiding the site in question.
