The Luxembourg food safety authorities announced over the weekend that Aronia Beeren from the Naturprodukte brand have been found to contain an allergen which has not been labelled.
The early warning system of the European Commission notified the authorities that these 200g packs of organic chocolate-covered berries, with the expiry date of 29 october 2015, contain unlabelled milk proteins and should therefore not be consumed by any individual with a dairy allergy.
These products were distributed in Luxembourg by Terra Vital in several Cactus shops, and have since been withdrawn from sale. However, certain packs were sold before the discovery was made.
Only products with the lot number L140545 and expiry date of 29 October 2015 are affected. In addition, these products are safe for consumption for those without any dairy allergies.
