Luxembourg's Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructures, François Bausch, will carry out a series of information meetings in four municipalities over the next 10 day on the topic of land use plans concerning housing refugees in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

On 23 October 2015, the Luxembourg Government instructed Minister Bausch, to develop land use plans in the municipalities of Junglinster, Diekirch, Mamer and Steinfort for the temporary reception of people seeking international protection. In this context, he will be joined by the Minister for Family and Integration, Corinne Cahen, and the Interior Minister, Dan Kersch, to inform residents of the four municipalities, following invitations from the mayors and municipal councils.

These information meetings will cover both the general context of international asylum as well as specific land use plans in the four municipalities concerned.
